Help Kevin

Your Cardinal Station in the Parkland B104 is selling tickets for the Friday, July 27th game against the Chicago Cubs valued at $71 for just $25.  What makes this ticket deal even sweeter is that half the proceeds of every ticket sold will go to help with medical expense for Kevin Thurman.

In the fall of 2017, Kevin was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in his sinus cavity.  In November, he had a tumor removed from the base of his skull and in 2018 began aggressive treatments in Houston, Texas and completed his 32nd and final radiation treatment on February 16th.

Kevin is a 1991 graduate of Mineral Area College and the Director of Development for MAC.  He has served the community as part of various organizations over the years and has coached several AAU basketball teams in the area.

“Kevin has always thought of others first,” said Vice President and General Manager of MKS Broadcasting Larry Joseph.  “Because of his work in our community, we decided to help him and his family out through the proceeds of ticket sales.”

Tickets are available at Mineral Area College, the Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce.

Plus, make sure you attend the game early to watch Kevin throw out the first pitch!

B104 Radio has been the home of St Louis Cardinal baseball since 2007.  Before that, the Cardinals were on 1240 KFMO since 1983.
