At Zoo Rama the baby Asian elephant was splashing around in water at the Oklahoma City. The zoo says he was born in January and is now close to 500 pounds and is very inquisitive. Check it out:
Hippo Crushes Whole Watermelon During Snack Time:
Crush! This hippo crushed a whole watermelon at the San Antonio Zoo. The zoo says watermelon is one of the hippo's "favorite snacks." Take a look, and try not to start craving watermelon!
Orangutan Cuddles With Her Newborn At The Zoo:
It’s springtime, and the babies are here! Kitra the Bornean orangutan snuggled with her newborn in the maternity den at the Oregon Zoo. The zoo said she gave birth on Wednesday, and the first-time mom and her new baby are doing well.
