Redtail Hawk Cam

Traffic Camera Taken Over By Family Of Red-Tailed Hawks

May 10 (UPI) -By Ben Hooper- Red-tailed hawks don’t have the inconvenience of traffic. A family of red-tailed hawks has made a Texas traffic camera into a wildlife camera. The parent hawks can be seen on livestream tending to their chicks after they built their nest right in front of the Texas Department of Transportation traffic camera in Irving. The department says the hawks have been nesting next to the camera since 2016. Hatchling hawks typically stay in the nest for six to seven weeks after hatching, and then it’s a few more weeks before they develop strong flight skills.

Enjoy the baby bird!!

Luh you, bye.
