Man Uses Math And Algorithms To Determine The Best First Guess In Wordle
A guy named Grant Sanderson has used math and algorithms to figure out the best first word to guess in Wordle! He ran some simulations to see what first word would allow a computer to get the right answer in the least amount of guesses. Through this work, it turns out the word "crane" is the best first word to try.
Says Grant, anyway... I have been using "BREAD" OR "WRITE" ... or whatever 5 letter word strikes my fancy each day.
