Knights of the Square Table Chess Club

Club meets from 6-9pm on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Thursday of each month at Panera's Restaurant in Farmington and 4-6pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Farmington Public Library. All players are welcome and if you can, please bring your chessboard.

Chicken & Dumpling dinner the first Thursday of each month at Knights of Columbus, Bonne Terre #1088 from 3:30pm-6:30pm at the meeting hall, 7897 Berry Road. Dinner comes with green beans, cole slaw, cinnamon applesauce and a selection of homemade desserts. Adults $7, children $3.50. Everyone welcome.

Homecoming/Prom Dress drive

Donate gently used/new clean dresses to help build self-esteem and to help a young lady enjoy her special occasion. Drop off location: Amanda Shipman State Farm, 1100 N. Pulled Pork BBQ

Solid Rock Family Church will have a Pulled Pork BBQ from 11am-1pm. Plates include BBQ Pulled Pork, bun, baked potato, corn on the cob and brownie for $7. Orders must be received by Wednesday Sept 18th by calling 756-7526. Delivery provided for orders of 3 or more plates. Convenient  drive thru pick up available.

BBQ Fundraiser for Youth World Evangelism Action

YWEA will host a BBQ Fundraiser starting at noon on the Dollar Tree/Walgreens parking lot in Desloge. Pulled pork, pork steaks, brats, hotdogs, Sandwiches $4.50, plates with 2 sides $6.50. Desserts will be available for purchase. 


Cantwell Baptist Church, 1005 East Chestnut in Desloge, Pastor John Kammermann & church family,  welcomes you to Revival, Friday & Saturday night at 7pm, and Sunday at 10:30am. Carry in dinner after Sunday AM Service. Evangelist Brother Chris Myers, Pastor of Irondale Baptist Church, a dynamic speaker and teacher of end time Prophecy.

10th Annual Fall Harvest

Washington State Park , Big River Day Use Area - Shelter #2 from 10am-4pm. Handmade item and Craft Fair, food concessions, hay rides, guided Petroglyph Tour at 2pm, interpretive kid crafts and nature displays. Trick or Treating for registered campers and cabin guests only from 6pm-7pm.
