Knights of the Square Table Chess Club

Club meets from 6-9pm on the 1st, 3rd, and 4th Thursday of each month at Panera's Restaurant in Farmington and 4-6pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Farmington Public Library. All players are welcome and if you can, please bring your chessboard.

St. Francois County Historical Society

Hear ye Hear ye, Come on Come all. Please join us for the St. Francois County Historical Society October meeting at 7pm at the Farmington Fire Station meeting room. Guest speaker: Jon Cozean, Phi Searce and his Pacific Theater Adventures on a B-24.

Blood Drive

Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy in Desloge will have a Blood Drive from 1:30pm-6pm. All blood donors will receive a special Parkland Healthmart t-shirt.

6th Annual Prophecy Conference

Bible Prophecy Revival Center, 112 Delmar St in Fredericktown, Oct 25th and 26th, 2 speakers each night at 7pm and 8pm. Miss Susan Turcotte of TV's "The Voice of Rejoicing Telecast", Evangelist & Conference Host, Jerry "Mac" McRaven, and Rick Hensley of Abundant Life Family Church in Farmington.

Coat Giveaway

Fredericktown United Methodist Church is having it's annual Coat Giveaway from 9am-noon. There will be coats and hats for men, women and children at this free event. The church is located at 216 South Main in Fredericktown.

Fall Music Jubilee

The Marvin Chapel UMC is having a Fall Music Jubilee with local artist singing all afternoon in the church at 4033 Hwy K, Bonne from 2pm-6pm. This is a Free event and a love offering will be taken for the benefit of Shop with a Cop.

Strength Training Classes

University of Missouri Extension is offering Strength Training Classes for older adults. This is an 8 week program, includes 16 exercise classes that meet twice weekly for one hour. Cost is FREE. 10:30am-11:30am at the St. Francois County Weber Road Facility, 1101 Weber Road, Farmington. Call 756-4539 to register.

Fall Festival

United Assembly of God, Hwy 8 between Leadwood and Desloge will have a Fall Festival from 5-7:30pm. Bouncy House, prizes, candy, games, music, photo booth, hot dogs, homemade fries, drinks, lots of fun.


The 2nd Annual East Missouri Action Agency Spooktacular from 4pm-7pm EMAA Outreach Office, 903 E. Chestnut, Desloge. Please join us along with our community partners for some sweet treats and the opportunity to learn about the programs they have to offer the community and family.

Gospel Singing

Esther Methodist Church, Sixth and Jefferson St. in Park Hills, will have a Gospel Singing featuring The Haggerty Family, 6pm. Refreshments following.

Forest Grove Cemetery Project

The Captain Henry Whitener Chapter DAR of Fredericktown, invites you to attend a presentation about historic Forest Grove Cemetery, in Lexington, MO

Judy Lindquist a founding member of the Forest Grove Cemetery Project will explain the historical significance of the cemetery, which was established in 1890 as a burial ground for the black community in Lexington. Ms. Lindquist will describe plans to restore the cemetery grounds, create an anthology of biographical information and provide headstones for veterans of four wars buried there, including a Civil War Veteran.

Comedy Night

t. Francois County VFW, 399 Oak St in Desloge, presents Comedy Night, Nate Baron returns with Charlie Winfrey, Ron Finger, JC Sibala, and Cori Stewart., doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 8pm. Tickets $10 presale and $13 at the door., Food and drink specials available. For ticket info 431-3915

Chicken & Dumpling Dinner

Chicken & Dumpling dinner the first Thursday of each month at Knights of Columbus, Bonne Terre #1088 from 3:30pm-6:30pm at the meeting hall, 7897 Berry Road. Dinner comes with green beans, cole slaw, cinnamon applesauce and a selection of homemade desserts. Adults $7, children $3.50. Everyone welcome.

Cookie Trail

Bonne Terre Cookie Trail starts at the Shepherd House to pick up your map and cookie trail bag (while they last). Follow the map around the Bonne Terre area. Collect stamps on your map and treats from each stop. Turn your completed map in at the Big River/Bonne Terre Fire House for a chance to win one of three $100 Bonne Terre Buck Prizes.

Veterans Day Dinner
