Description:

The City of Farmington is accepting applications for a Program Coordinator at the Civic Center. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: planning, implementation and evaluation of activities, fitness programs, race events, water park events, sports leagues and camps; policy administration; recruiting, coordinating and supervising staff and volunteers. This position takes the lead on various programs offered by the department; supervises Civic Center and Water Park front desk, concessions and babysitting staff.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour. Pay will increase to $17.65 per hour upon successful completion of the 6-month probationary period. Qualifications:

A Bachelor Degree in Parks and Recreation, Leisure Studies, Education, Sports Management or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of equivalent full-time work experience related to parks and recreation is required as well as a valid Missouri Class E Driver's License. CPR certification is required within 6 months of employment.
