Bonne Terre Residents Injured in Wreck

(Jefferson County, MO) Two residents of Bonne Terre, 76 year old Marilynn S. Holdman, and 79 year old Artie G. Holdman, are suffering moderate injuries after they were involved in a two vehicle accident Monday afternoon just before 3 o'clock in Jefferson County. Highway Patrol reports show a jeep driven south on Highway 67, at Meyer Road by a 16 year old male juvenile, crashed into the rear of a car driven south by Marilynn Holdman. Reports indicate the juvenile failed to keep a proper lookout before hitting the car which was stopped at a steady red light. Artie Holdman was a passenger in the car driven by the teen juvenile. Both Holdman's were taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. All those involved in the wreck were wearing their seat belts. The juvenile was not injured.
