(Bonne Terre, MO.) 33 year old Jamie Lynn Slade is indicted for her part in a healthcare scheme involving actions at Midwest Cardiovascular and her ex employer Dr. Antoine Adem. Published reports indicate Slade was indicted Thursday by a grand jury. Slade is alleged to have helped Adem turn in fraudulent, false claims for procedures at the business causing Adem to make $2,000 more per patient than was normal. Adem pled guilty in August. His sentencing is set for December. Slade could spend up to 10 years in prison and could pay up to $250,000 in fines.
