(Park Hills, Mo) - A one day campaign signed by Governor Parson will be coming across Missouri. It's called the Buckle Up, Phones Down Campaign. MoDot Area Engineer Brian Okenfuss says it's to raise awareness to safe driving and making sure we aren't distracted.
Missouri is one of only a few states in the nation where texting while driving isn't illegal. Okenfuss says legal or not, it's still not safe and Tuesday October 29th is the day to raise awareness in Missouri.
