(Jefferson County, MO.) A teenager from Desloge, 19 year old Sarah K. Beck, is suffering moderate injuries after her vehicle was struck by a diesel tractor trailer Monday morning about 11 o'clock in Jefferson County. Missouri State Highway Patrol Reports indicate Beck was driving north on Interstate 55 at the 177 mile marker when her vehicle and another driven by 54 year old Timothy N. Moehle of Festus, were stopped at the end of a line of traffic on the highway. The diesel, driven north by 55 year old James C. Wagner, of Mexico, Missouri, topped a hillcrest and was unable to stop. The truck smashed into Beck's and Moehle's vehicles pushing them off the right side of the road. The diesel stopped under the driver's control on the left shoulder of the highway. Moehle and Beck were taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
