Farmington Police Looking for Rape Suspect

(Farmington, MO.) Law enforcement officials are looking for a 21 year old Farmington man, Alex Barker. Barker is charged with felony rape in the first degree as well as felony kidnapping, inflicting injury,or terrorizing in the first degree. Authorities say Barker is being charged following an incident that allegedly took place in March. Reports show police were called to take a report from a female who said she had been sexually assaulted. The woman said Barker picked her up from her home about 10 o'clock the evening of March 20th. She also says he took her to his residence on Wesley Drive and forced her to have sex with him twice. The report states Barker took the woman home after about an hour. There are also previous charges against Barker including a 2017 assault for which he received a 7 year suspended sentence. He served a 120 day shock incarceration and spent 30 days in jail for tampering with property.
