Felony Charges for Farmington Shooter

(Farmington, MO.) No injuries are being reported after Farmington police say a 58 year old man fired shots in a duplex at 1021 Edna this morning. Farmington Police Chief, Rick Baker, says his officers were called to the residence just after 9 o'clock. Baker adds when officers got to the scene they cordoned off the area and the man came out of the duplex holding a cell phone. Baker explains the man was taken into custody without incident.

Baker explains his office is recommending charges of felony unlawful use of a weapon and felony 4th degree assault. The man's name cannot be released until formal charges are filed and they are expected to be soon.
