(Washington County, MO.) A Sullivan man, 43 year old Jason Ficke, is charged with one count of assault in the 1st degree, one count of domestic assault 1st degree, one count of domestic assault 2nd degree, two counts of armed criminal action, and four counts of unlawful use of a weapon after he was allegedly involved in a shooting in Sullivan last Saturday morning. A release from Sheriff Jacobsen indicates deputies were called to the 10,000 block of Pecan Road at Sullivan at about 10:30 for a shooting.
While responding to the scene, dispatch received a call from the Washington County Memorial Hospital reporting a victim of a gunshot wound had arrived at the hospital. The hospital reported the victim was being treated for a non life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. The suspect was identified as Ficke. Jacobsen says Ficke allegedly confronted a male and female at the residence. Ficke is also said to have violently assaulted the female. Ficke is accused of shooting the male victim in the leg. Reports also show Ficke is alleged to have shot the female's's cell phone as he fled the scene. Ficke was found in Jefferson County by the Missouri State HIghway Patrol. The victim was transferred to a Saint Louis area hospital.
