Lake Timberline Shooting Investigation Continues

(St. Francois County, MO.) Authorities have released the names of two men who are dead after Tuesday's early morning shooting in Lake Timberline. It's alleged 24 year old Nicholas David Brown shot his grandfather, 66 year old James Lange, according to Lange's wife, the 71 year old woman who called 911. A press release from the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department reports officers were called to the scene at 6:04 a.m. for a domestic disturbance in the 9400 block of Woodleigh Drive. Officers were advised gunshots had been fired. Reports indicate the woman heard two shots then a third shot a moment later. A second 911 call was received from a male caller who said he had been shot twice. The man became unresponsive while on the phone with 911. Police found James Lange dead in the living room and Brown dead on the bedroom floor from what appeared to be a self inflicted gunshot wound. Police have not mentioned any motive as the incident is still under investigation.
