Nickles No Longer Charged in Child Pornography Case

(Bonne Terre, MO.) 28 year old Roseanna Nickles, of Bonne Terre, is no longer charged in connection to a child pornography case involving her child. A Grand Jury decided Monday that new evidence in the case showed Nickles did not know anything about the alleged sexual acts being performed on her child by the defendant 33 year old Andrew Hotchkiss, also of Bonne Terre. The original charges came about after an investigation in Oregon. An officer from Oregon's State Police contacted the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department about child pornography photos they had discovered on a cell phone. Through the data contained in the photos police were able to determine they had been taken at an address on Quiet Lane , north of Bonne Terre. More photographs were found that appeared to contain Hotchkiss, a person younger than 12 years old, and what was thought to be Nickles. Hotchkiss, an ex Leadwood Police Officer, is charged with two counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree and felony possession of child pornography. Nickles was charged with felony endangering the welfare of a child. Hotchkiss is still in custody. He's scheduled to appear in court again June 25th for a bond reduction hearing.
