Peaceful Protest Held in Farmington

(Farmington, Mo) - A peaceful protest was held by around 100 people in the shadow of the St Francois County Courthouse Monday evening.  Organizers told KFMO / B104 that they were happy with the turnout and that things remained peaceful. Organizer Janie Jacks talked with Audra Cain at the protest.

​The protests remained peaceful throughout the evening.  Farmington Police Chief Rick Baker told KFMO / B104 that the city police department had a contingency plan in place should the protests turn into more than peaceful.
