Peterson Announces Run for County Treasurer

(St. Francois County, MO.) Now that current St. Francois County Treasurer, Kerry Glore, has announced she will not run for the office again, another person has announced his intent to run for the seat. St. Francois County native, Parks Peterson, is announcing his entry into the race. Peterson says his business education and background in banking with First State Community Bank, would se4rve him well in the position of St. Francois County Treasurer. Peterson says he wants to do his part to help the county continue to grow.

Peterson also says he feels Glore has assembled a great team of workers in the auditor's office and he looks forward to the possibility of working with them. 
Peterson is the son of Chip and Debbie Peterson. He's a 2008 graduate of Farmington High School and studied at Lindenwood University in St. Charles on a football scholarship. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in General Business in 2012 and then enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program. in 2013 Peterson graduated from Lindenwood with a Master's Degree in Finance.
