(Jefferson County, MO.) A High School teacher in the Jefferson R7 School, 25 year old Jacob Brooks, is scheduled for a court appearance July 28 in Jefferson County. Brooks is facing two counts of sexual contact with a student and one count of furnishing, or attempting to furnish, pornography to a minor. Brooks was a special education teacher who is alleged to have had sexual encounters twice with a 17 year old student. The acts are alleged to have taken place in December of 2019 and may have involved alcohol. Brooks turned himself over to police at the end of March. An investigation into the allegations is ongoing.
