Two Charged in Doe Run Homicide

(Farmington, MO.) Two Farmington residents are facing first degree murder charges in the death of 28 year old Anthony D. O'Harver of Farmington. 24 year old Shawn Korando and 25 year old Megan Cole, who sometimes goes by the name of Megan Goodson, are also charged with armed criminal action, abandonment of a corpse, and tampering with physical evidence in a prosecution. Reports indicate the pair, and another individual, are alleged to have beaten O'Harver with a baseball bat, then strangled him. Cole and Korando are also alleged to have dumped O'Harver's body in Doe Run. A press release from St. Francois County Sheriff Dan Bullock reports his officers discovered a man's body wrapped in a large piece of carpet in the Hamilton Town area of Doe Run Friday morning after receiving a call about 7:30 concerning property damage at the site. Upon investigation the body was found near the reporting parties property. A Farmington residence where the pair was taken into custody is believed to be the scene of the homicide. Numerous items of evidence were found at that location. Cole and Korando were taken to the St. Francois County Jail Friday evening.
