Two Local Residents Injured in Jefferson County Wreck

(Jefferson County, MO.) A woman from Park Hills, 93 year old Amanda L. Redman, and a man from Bonne Terre, 61 year old James S. Redman, are recovering from injuries they received in a three vehicle accident in Jefferson County  at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Highway Patrol reports show the accident took place on I-55 in the northbound lanes, north of McNutt Road, when a car driven by James Redman steered right to avoid a pick up truck driven by 60 year old Martin Pinson of Festus. The driver side of Redman's car struck the rear of Pinson's pick up. The truck then ran to the right and crashed into the driver side of a semi tractor trailer driven by 36 year old Bradley Johnson of Ripley, Tennessee. Amanda Redman was moderately injured while James Redman received minor injuries. Both were taken to Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
