(Farmington, MO.) Funds raised through the United Way of St. Francois County are now in the hands of the 33 different service organizations that receive the monies in order to help them operate in the county after the annual awards presentation this afternoon at the Farmington Library. The Executive Director of the group Clay Whitener, says they were able to give $181,200 dollars this year and they're already organizing next year's effort
Whitener also says if you have a company you can contact him about their payroll deduction program and, he adds, all of the money raised and donated to the service groups stays in St. Francois County.
