Vaccine Clinic Next Week in Farmington

(Farmington, MO) The St. Francois County Vaccine Coalition is partnering with the Missouri National Guard and the Missouri State Department of Health and Senior Services to bring a mass COVID vaccination clinic to Farmington. The clinic will be held next Thursday, February 4th from 8:30 a.m. until 7 o'clock that night at the Farmington Civic Center. Parkland Health Center is a part of the coalition and Parkland's Vice President of Operations, Chris Westrich, says this is not a walk in event. You must register for the shot at the St. Francois County Health Center website. Westrich adds only people who have registered with the St. Francois county Health Department, who receive a call from a coalition member, and have been provided an appointment time, are allowed to get the vaccine at the event.

Westrich explains they are following the phases and tier levels of vaccinations so you may not qualify for the vaccine yet however you can still register. The Pfizer two shot vaccine will be used at the clinic. The date for the second shot is February 25th. For the most current information, follow St. Francois County Health Department and Parkland Health Center on Facebook.  If you would like to receive the COVID vaccination, you can register at the St. Francois County Health Department website at sfchc.org/covid-19-updates
